The flounder bite was short and located in the clean water.I could only find one small area that had tropical looking water today and sure enough that is where I caught Mr. Flounder.To catch flounder or any other game fish in the back bay consistently it is imperative you get to know the area you fish. A few things you should learn about the area you fish. Learn how the wind direction effects the salinity, currents and the clarity of the water. During certain conditions large areas of the back bay will be void of fish, this sets the stage for some outstanding fishing by concentrating the fish into small holes or areas.
