The eddy was swing my lure directly along a known weakfish hideout.Sure enough, as my lure passed by, I got a solid strike. As my drag screamed, I am thinking, 11 LBS tide-runner. However, it turned out to be a 28″ striped bass, that was fighting like a weakie. Ed followed up with a nice striper. The striped bass and monster bluefish must have spooked the tide runner weakfish, out of the area. The tide-runner weakfish hunt will continue on the next tide.
