All I had to do was take a quick look at the water and I could tell it was not a day to fish in my area. The wind will not stop. The water is full of grass, due to the fact that this time of the year all the old marsh grass is pushed into the water as the new grass starts to grow. I did catch some large eels in one of my pots along with some very small blue claw crabs. So, I continue to wait for the right conditions to get back to the hunt for my first big striper and the first weakfish of the season.
