I urge everyone to demand that the management board give the weakfish population a chance to rebuild .The only way this can be achieved is by closing the harvest to commercial fishing totally for two years and closing the recreational harvest during the spawning season. The Weakfish Management Board will be meeting on August 19, from 8-10:30 am, in Alexandria, VA at the Crown Plaza Old Town Hotel, 901 N. Fairfax Street.
